Riverbrook Buildings is a locally owned portable building and metal building dealership proudly serving Manchester, Tennessee, and communities throughout Middle Tennessee. As an authorized dealer for Old Hickory Buildings and MaxSteel Buildings, we offer a wide selection of portable buildings and metal structures, including storage sheds, lofted barns, garages, workshops, playhouses, greenhouses, animal shelters, carports, RV covers, commercial buildings, and fully customized building solutions.
But Riverbrook Buildings wasn't built from years of selling buildings—it started as a customer's story.
About six years ago, I purchased my very own Old Hickory building on a rent-to-own plan. At the time, I was living on my grandmother's property and wanted a place of my own while living within my means. That building became my first home, and I lived in it for five years.
Living in an Old Hickory building gave me a perspective that very few dealers have. I experienced the entire process myself—from choosing the building and making monthly payments to living in it every single day. Because of that experience, I understand the questions customers have before they buy, and I know how important it is to choose the right building for your needs instead of simply the biggest or most expensive one.
During those years, I became friends with one of Old Hickory's delivery drivers. Over time, that friendship led to an opportunity I never expected: I was asked if I would be interested in operating my own dealership. Today, I'm proud to own Riverbrook Buildings and help other families, homeowners, farmers, and business owners find the right building for their property and budget.
I still own that very first building today, and it continues to serve as a reminder of where this journey began.

Most Old Hickory Buildings & Sheds are Engineer Certified… so you can have confidence that when you buy an Old Hickory Building, it’ll meet International Building Code (IBC) standards for Minor Storage Facilities (Occupancy Category 1).
Engineer Certified buildings are certified for Ground Snow Load and Wind Load as defined by local requirements (once customer supplied anchors are installed). A standard set of engineered plans are available upon request after purchase of a building. We employ a fulltime engineer for quick turnaround for custom plans or custom buildings. Plans do not include anchors, calculations, or elevations. Extra charges apply for custom plans, calculations, or elevations. Wind rating requires customer supplied anchors.
Note: Buildings are designed to meet IBC standards but are not guaranteed for every local jurisdiction that may have its own unique codes. Our buildings are classified as Minor Storage Facilities (Occupancy Category I) and not intended for other uses.
Old Hickory Buildings & Sheds’s convenient purchasing options allow you to pay for your shed or building at the time of purchase or to make monthly payments through a rent-to-own program. The no hassle terms make getting the storage you need simple and affordable. No credit checks are required with this easy rent-to-own program.
The low monthly rental rates are comparable to mini – warehousing rates. The no – strings plan allows you to have your own storage facility at your home or business, when and where you need it.

Old Hickory Buildings & Sheds offers you peace of mind – with a limited 5 – year warranty backed by a company that has been in business since 1997, you can trust that Old Hickory will be there if you need them, and with our warranty written, there will be no surprises in the rare event of a claim.
All claims must be filed through the manufacturer. For your convenience, below are links to file a claim and to the written warranty policy. Please follow the process below and submit your claim online to the home office.
Old Hickory Buildings & Sheds offers a Limited Lifetime Warranty against termite damage & fungal decay on all pressure treated wood, including Pressure Treated Skids, Floor Joists (On All Models), Optional Pressure Treated Flooring, Optional Pressure Treated T1 – 11 Siding.
Old Hickory Buildings & Sheds offers a 30-year Limited Material Warranty on metal. All metal roofing and siding comes with a 30-year limited warranty against rust-through. Old Hickory also offers a 50-year manufacturer’s warranty on LP Smart Siding.
Old Hickory Buildings & Sheds will match any competitor’s advertised price for the same quality building. The competitor’s building must have the same or better-quality materials and features. Consumers MUST provide an official quote on competitor letterhead or show pricing in a brochure or on a price sheet that shows the building’s size, type, add-on features.
The LOW-PRICE GUARANTEE excludes competitor discounts on used or aged building inventory. Old Hickory reserves the right to make final pricing matching decisions.
